Save the dates: Mission Formation Program to be offered online, Sept. 17-19

The Mission Formation Program sponsored by GEMN will next be offered online, Tuesday-Thursday, Sept. 17-19, from 12 noon to 3pm each day.  People across the church interested to grow more deeply into their world mission ministry are invited and encouraged to enroll.  Stay tuned for registration information soon!

The program equips you to participate knowledgeably and effectively in God’s mission globally.  The program’s centerpiece is a sequence of two sessions over a one-year period.  When in person, the program is offered just before the annual Missio conference, but this year it’s being held online.  Between the annual sessions, you’ll participate in a Mentor Group, do some reading, and carry out a project.  You’ll receive a certificate upon completion.

Those who participated in the 2023 Formation Program in Tampa, Florida, are invited to enroll for Year 2, while new participants will enter Year 1.

Program modules include:

  • Biblical Foundations of Mission
  • Mission History and Theology
  • Missional Spirituality
  • Cultural Competence & Sensitivity
  • Companionship in Mission
