Central Ecuador is again available to welcome mission trips from our diocese and is encouragin us to send medical and other mission groups.  One hundred copies of THE BOOK OF COMMON PRAYER-Spanish Version were donated by St. James, Marietta and sent to Central Ecuador.

 Diocesan Mission Projects:

Hundreds of volunteers from the diocese, clergy and lay, have traveled to Camp Coast Care in Long Beach, Mississippi to assist with Katrina relief efforts.

A global Mission Event was held in October 2005 and drew 54 people throughout the diocese.  The day included cross cultural exercises, workshops, music, various presentations and time for sharing.  The Global Mission Committee presented a workshop at the Diocesan Ministry Fair in March 2006.  Topics shared by the panel focused on planning mission trips: medical missions to Ecuador, building trips to Mexico with the aid of a professional non-profit mission trip planning group and trips to Camp Coast Care.

The Global Mission Committee is establishing a Speaker's Bureau and now has a page on the Diocesan web site.
